Introduction
This centre is an early education and
training centre funded by Social Welfare Department and governed by Po Leung
Kuk. Since 2018, this centre began to provide professional training for
children with special needs; our support and coordination help the parents to
accept, understand, take care of and train their children with learning
difficulties and impaired development. Our objective is to nurture the
children’s all-round development and maximize their learning potential, which
will help lay a better foundation for the children’s future education and
development.
Service Natures
To enhance the learning potential of the children with
learning and developmental difficulties, individual and group training sessions
are offered. We aim to help them integrate into the mainstream education by
offering early intervention, parental guidance and support.
Service Characteristics
Professional Team
A team of professional staff including clinical psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, special child care worker and social worker works together and provides strategic training for the holistic development of children.
Integrated Group Training
In line with the integrated child-based approach, our centre provides various group training for the children at different developmental stages, for example, Infant Course and Primary-One Bridging Course. These training would help them develop the skills holistically.
Physical Fitness Training
Having a healthy body and daily routine is essential to promote the all-rounded development of the children. Therefore, our centre would customize individual fitness plans for the children, in the hope of improving their learning abilities.
Social and Emotional Support
Our centre values the social, behavioural, and emotional development of the children. We regularly offer social-emotional training, art therapy, play therapy and other therapeutic treatment, in order to provide children with appropriate care and support.

Application Procedures and Dischaege of Service
To apply for our service, please
contact IFSC or CSC. Referrals can be made by social workers or staff of
rehabilitation service units to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation
Services of the Social Welfare Department.
