Introduction

This service unit is a non-profit-making day creche under Po Leung Kuk child care services. It aims to provide proper care for infants and children. The creche was set up in 1978, and with a generous donation from Dr. Mok Hing Yiu in 2009, renamed as Mok Hing Yiu Creche. The creche has been dedicated to providing diversified day care services for infants and their family.

Service Characteristics

• The creche operates in an independent floor. It is far away from crowd, well-ventilated and well-lighted. The creche provides independent living areas, playroom, outdoor playground, milk preparation room, pantry and children’s washroom.
• There are multi-sensory equipments in playroom. Also, there are table toys, ground toys, modern craft construction kits, books, music and physical fitness aids in various rooms in order to fit for daily schedules and developmental needs of infants and children.

Monday to Friday 8:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.

Saturday 8:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.

Fee

The fees charged are audited and approved by Social Welfare Department. The monthly fees are inclusive of milk powder and meals. Parents can apply for waiver if necessary. Please inquire at the creche for more details.。

Meal Arrangement

In order to meet the developmental needs of infants and children, we have designed a nutritious infant menu and provide various types of infant and children milk powder in accordance with different demands. Food will be prepared by our staff, and conforms to safety and sanitation requirements.

Expectant mothers can also submit the application form when pregnancy is confirmed, they should submit with copies of medical proof to crèche.。
